Getting Started

1. What You'll Need (Prerequisites)

Before you can interact with the Wreath Finance platform, ensure you have the following:

  • A Web3 Compatible Wallet:

    • This is your gateway to the decentralized web. We recommend using popular browser extension wallets like MetaMask, Rabby, or other wallets supported by WalletConnect.

    • Ensure your wallet is installed and configured for the blockchain network Wreath Finance operates on (e.g., Ethereum Mainnet, or a specific testnet if you are exploring that environment).

  • Native Blockchain Currency (for Gas Fees):

    • All transactions on the blockchain require a small fee, commonly known as "gas." For example, if Wreath is on Ethereum, you'll need ETH in your wallet to cover these transaction costs.

    • Make sure you have a sufficient balance to cover a few transactions.

  • Tokens for Participation (Optional, depending on your goals):

    • For Investors: If you plan to contribute to bonds, you'll need the specific raiseToken (e.g., WETH, USDC, DAI) that the bond is accepting. This will be clearly indicated on the bond's details page.

    • For Project Creators: If you plan to create a bond, you will need your project's ERC20 token and approval for the Wreath protocol to interact with it.

2. Connecting Your Wallet to Wreath Finance

Connecting your wallet is a simple and secure process:

  1. Navigate to the Wreath Finance Platform: Open your web browser and go to the official Wreath Finance URL https://app.wreath.finance

  2. Locate the "Connect Wallet" Button: This is typically found in the top-right corner of the platform interface.

  3. Click "Connect Wallet": A pop-up will appear, presenting you with wallet options.

  4. Choose Your Wallet:

    • If you are using a browser extension wallet like MetaMask, it should be listed directly. Click on it.

    • If you are using a mobile wallet or another type, you might select "WalletConnect" and then scan the QR code with your wallet app.

  5. Approve Connection in Your Wallet: Your wallet will prompt you to authorize the connection to Wreath Finance. Review the request and approve it.

    • Wreath Finance will only request permission to view your wallet address and balances, and to suggest transactions for your approval. It will never ask for your private keys or seed phrase.

  6. Successful Connection: Once approved, the Wreath Finance interface should update to show your wallet address (or a snippet of it), indicating a successful connection. You are now ready to explore the platform!

3. Your First Look: Navigating the Platform

Once your wallet is connected, take a moment to familiarize yourself with the main sections of the Wreath Finance platform:

  • Dashboard / Bonds Page: This is usually the main landing page, showcasing active bond offerings, key statistics, and filtering options.

  • My Bonds: If you've participated in bonds, this section will show your positions and allow you to manage them.

  • Create Bond: For project creators, this is where you'll configure and launch new bond sales.

  • Liquidity Dashboard: View and manage your liquidity positions that arise from bond participations.

  • Help / FAQ: Find answers to common questions and detailed guides.

A detailed overview of each page can be found in below.
